Epsom Chamber Choir commissioned me to write a piece for them this year. It is called “The heavens declare the glory of God” based on the first few verses of Psalm 19. I am in good company in the program with the Bruckner and Stravinsky masses. I feel very honoured to be alongside them. If you live near Epsom and are free on November 16th 2024, why not come along ?
Dundonald Church Choir have recorded a new carol this year to be released in early December. Ally Barrett of Jubilate hymn writers provided the text and I have provided the music to accompany it. It has been an exciting collaboration and hope it will be an encouragement to many as we think about the true meaning of Christmas. Here is the choir after the recording session.
