Back in Christmas 2018, the family ended up at Coddy’s farm in Holmfirth, Yorkshire. Snow came down one night and we had a wonderful walk in the snow the next day accompanied by the inevitable snowball fight. My mum took photos of the walk and produced a painting capturing the fun. Rosemary, my sister, wrote a poem based on the walk and paintings. So, yes, you guessed it, I put it to music. The piece was composed for the Sherborne Composer’s workshop and I am indebted to members of that group for their contributions.
