This piece was written for Culcheth Methodist Choir. The accompanist is my mum and my Father was a member of the choir for many years. The text is written by my sister, Rosemary Haslam, and the overriding message is the joy of singing – joy for those who sing in a choir and also for those who listen. There may be struggles along the way but to see the contented audience at the end is fulfilment indeed.
