One never seems to get bored of writing Christmas carols ! This year, I was asked to write a carol for Culcheth Methodist Church Choir. Their iconic church building is shown here.
I enlisted the help of my sister, Rosemary, for a text and “Unwrap the Christmas story” was born. It is a gentle carol encouraging us to put aside the Christmas trappings and look again at the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus. Culcheth Methodist Church Choir will premiere this on Wednesday 16th March 2026. However, a special video version will be issued before then so watch this space !!
