Psalm 95 is a Psalm full of joy and praise of our great God who created all things including us who are the people of his pasture. However, it has a tough message at the end. The failings of past generations that hardened their hearts meant that God says “You shall not enter my rest”. The coming of Christ changes that. He says in Matthew 11:28 that in me you shall have rest for your souls. I therefore include this verse together with Psalm 95 to give us the full picture of God’s salvation plan.
