How good and pleasant it is

Psalm 133 is a wonderful reminder of how good and pleasant it is when God’s people dwell in unity. The Psalmist illustrates this in two ways. Firstly, oil flowing down Aaron’s beard – the purifying nature of unity and secondly the dew being taken from Mount Hermon to Zion – the refreshing and re-vitalising it brings to the barren places. On such, God bestows his blessing.

The piece has simple melodies to reflect the way this unity bring calm and peace to our chaotic world.
