This piece takes the words of the classic hymn of Psalm 100 and gives it a choral setting. It is full of energy and drive as all people sing to the Lord. There is a brief respite from this tempo to a more tranquil feel as we acknowledge Him as shepherd and we his sheep. After that though, the pace quickens again as the band livens up – entering his courts with praise to ragtime ! We finish reflectively in recognising God as good and He shall endure to the end.
